Mary Gingrass, MD

Dr. Mary Gingrass is a leading Tennessee cosmetic surgeon specializing in various procedures alongside Dr. Melinda Haws. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Gingrass is a third-generation plastic surgeon. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1989 and completed her general and plastic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Her training included a fellowship at Nashville Plastic Surgery, focusing on cosmetic and breast enhancement surgery. Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Gingrass is a respected member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Gingrass is known for her expertise in ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) and has played a significant role in teaching this technique to professionals nationwide. She has received national recognition for her work in body contouring and has been a featured speaker at prestigious plastic surgery symposia worldwide. Her contributions have earned her the Certification of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Having served as the past chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, Dr. Gingrass is affiliated with St. Thomas Midtown Plaza Surgicare Outpatient Surgery Center and Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She has been practicing in Nashville since 1995, dedicating her practice exclusively to cosmetic surgery.
